I pulled the car to a stop in front of the house and noticed that sitting upon part of the hedge that stuck out from the rest, was a large dragonfly. He stood, perfectly still as I came closer and closer with the camera, getting many many shots until finaly, I stood perfectly to get this image.
This is my favorite photo I have taken so far. Dragonflies are a "personal" animal of mine, sort of like a totem, and having this one just sitting waiting for me was amazing. |
